Its been 2 months since i've last blogged and I feel like i'm going thru the same process again... Starting a blog enthusiastically and den stop following it up after awhile... I must stop this habit...
Alot of things happened during this 2 months...duno where to start...maybe start with my most memorable event...
I went Macau, Zhuhai and Hong Kong on Labour Day long weekend!!! Its was quite enjoyable and I think I came back fatter than before. We keep eating like 4 - 5 times a day and I think i did visit the toilet the same number of times... haha...
All the 3 places was my first time.
Macau, big casinos, was an eye opener but bewarned pls do not go there gamble, you can never win... I put in money and never win even a little bit...
Zhuhai was my first experience stepping into China territory. It was so near to Macau tat i jus walked over, like from singapore to johor bahru. I went to the seafood street... wah all the fresh seafood and I ordered a big lobster i think cost SGD 90 bucks for 1.5KG which is consider cheap...
Hong Kong was the supposed shopping paradise but i didnt see much i like leh. most of the prices there isn't very cheap as compared to my regular haunt in Bangkok. But one thing for sure is i really like the food... so tasty jus wanna fly there to eat again...
I spend alot for the trip like close to two thousand including credit card signups... damn it i'm gonna eat grass for the next few months...
Next event was I finished my IPT jus before I went for the trip so I no need to care about my IPPT for this year liao! Yeah...
Finally i jus wanna say I HATE MY TEAM!!! esp the PM and team lead... just cannot click with them... find them so funny ppl... i'm in the midst of looking for other work liao... dun care liao... they make me so stressed up and den so KL... make me almost lose my direction in life too...
Anyway thats about it so far... Till I write again... If i remember... Haha...

When i woke up it was already past 20 mins and Arsenal was up 1 goal. Damn i was devastated! But i know Liverpool gonna come back with the equaliser soon cos its Anfield fortress!!
They did scored an equaliser thru Sami Hyypia, the old guard defender. He has been in Liverpool for 10 years already since 1999. Wow thats a long time...
The score stayed level till the start of the second half. Liverpool carried on when they ended the first half bombarding the Arsenal half and out of a sudden, Torres scored a no-look goal! He is my "GOD" now. How many chances can u give this man. He can turn something out of nothing. Everyone was expecting him to take one more move before taking aim and suddenly he shoots towards goal in an impossible location for the goalkeeper to save.
Arsene Wenger was desparate and he sent on 2 more attackers to clinch the equaliser which can also be the lead due to the away goals rule. And it really happened in one of the corner, Theo Walcott got the ball and ran past 3 liverpool players from their half and crossed for Adebayor to score. I was so devastated when i saw them score the goal. And suddenly liverpool got a penalty immediately! The emotions from an extreme down become extreme nervousness and that soon change to extreme delight!!!
Gerrard scored from the penalty spot! Whew... Nerves of steel he has...
Arsenal keep probbing for the equaliser and couldn't find an answer to the packed defence. And they were caught out when suddenly Kuyt got the ball and passed to Babel with a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper. You'll bet ur money on him to score the deciding goal. And he did!
That summed up the whole exciting game and when the game ended i was still in shocked at the highs and lows i've experience in a mere 45 mins. Happily i went back to sleep to catch some rest before waking up to work in another 2 hours....
CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE FOR THE SIXTH TIME LIVERPOOL!!! YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE!!!

This is the second time in 6 months i'm going to Genting liao. The first time i went w/o any senior members of the family, meaning my first trip by myself! I hv been going Genting with family since young and now with my own income I can afford to go there myself and also go into casino and GAMBLE!!!
This second trip was a really impromptu one as my company has a special arrangement with Genting Int'l and we could get special pricing for the holiday period. So just got it and go with my darling and her buddy and her buddy's bf. Soon they'll be the regular holiday gang haha...
Well nothing much else is going on den... Will try to put in new fresh stuffs when i'm back... right now in office must tactical abit... bye!!!

The official news has been released. Toshiba is pulling out of the HD format war.
Ever since I bought my first LCD TV during Xmas last year, I began to be more interested in the area of High Definition (aka HD). As my LCD TV is HD Ready, I wondered what is HD Ready. After some googling, it simply means that the equipment is ready for HD input/output.
Introduction to HD
Initially I thought simply plugging in my Starhub CableTV cable into my LCD TV would be able to produce the crisp sharp images you see in the superstores, however it doesn’t work this way.
I’ve learnt that to achieve true HD quality pictures, you’ll need a combination of the following:
You’ll need 3 components: (1) HD Ready/ Full HD LCD TV a. This provides the pictures (2) HD Set-top box/ HD disc player a. This provides the source of data (3) HD DVD/ Blu-Ray DVD a. This is the HD data b. This may not be compulsory due to the data may be transmitted from Starhub set-top box or Mediacorp HD set-top box.
Without all three, you would not be able to produce those sharp pictures.
Current developments
So why are there 2 different types of HD data sources? Namely HD DVD and Blu-ray? Well both of invented by different equipment manufacturers and each is supported by different group of manufacturers, movie studios, etc.
Due to the strong differences between each format, the equipment is also different. Thus consumers have to decide which one to buy, although the picture quality isn’t much different.
Thus this made many consumers hold back their purchases as one or the other might be phased out in the end. This made neutral manufacturers worried and they decided to development dual format equipment to allow the consumers to fall back on either format in the event of a format phasing out.
Latest News
Just yesterday, Toshiba, the leader of the HD DVD format manufacturers, announced that they will be giving up the push for HD DVD. This is the signal of the end of the format war.
The reason for them giving up is due to more and more movie studios, distributors switching allegiance to Blu-Ray. Final straw came when Warner Bros announced they’ll only support Blu-Ray from now onwards.
These bring good news for all consumers and they can start making their decisions to buy. And good news for me too. As I’ve been deciding either Microsoft Xbox, which I have to buy a HD DVD player addon to watch HD movies, or Sony Playstation 3, which has a in-built Blu-Ray disc player.
So remember to look out for Blu-ray equipment from now onwards!

Even though the score seems to say Liverpool beat Inter Milan convincingly, it does not say it all.
I was watching the match bleary eyed at the ungodly hour of 3.45am to 5.45am.
The starting eleven always have someone unexpectedly playing. Dirk Kuyt started again! He must have given Benitez some special “ECA” after training every day to warrant a starting place all the time despite his lack of goals esp as a striker.
The game started the way Benitez always wanted Liverpool to play in all Euro home games, which is to give “full-court” pressure in basketball terms. He always tries to do this to European teams coming to Anfield for the first time as Anfield is a crazy place to visit for away teams.
The fans were behaving like they were playing on the field too, singing and cheering which gave the players extra energy to surge all over.
After the initial 20 mins when everything went back to normal, Liverpool began to have the same problems again. It’s always having loads of chances but unable to finish them off. It’s quite frustrating for a fan to watch seriously.
I began to be bored right in the middle of the second half until Benitez took off Babel for Crouch which states the intention of Benitez to finish the game. Luckily in the 85th min a lucky deflection for Kuyt that the Julio Cesar fooled and got into goal. Hopefully this is the beginning of many for Kuyt. Gerrard subsequently scored a superb long diagonal low shot into goal which all the Inter Milan players missed intercepting. This sums up all the hard work and we won the match!
My opinion so far…
Liverpool seems to totally different team in Europe than in EPL. This I think is strongly attributed to Benitez. I’m beginning to get fed up at his lack of ability in the EPL. Yes the Champions League is very important but we need to restore our pride in winning the Premier League. He always keeps the best players for Champions League and not the EPL.
I’m losing my patience on him…

OMG!!! Nokia has just officially announced the release of N96!!
Just a few days ago, my colleague who went to Nokia N-series microsite and was supposed to be looking at N95 and he told he saw wrongly and told me he saw something like N86 or N96.
I tot he was joking and proceeded to take a look using coy's lappy... My firefox browser just wasnt able to show it up and i decided to brush it off, thinking he might have seen wrongly...
However! Yesterday Nokia sent me an email informing me of the release of N96. I immediately went to the microsite again using my home pc and LORD AND BEHOLD!! This new version is sooooooo much advanced than my current N95 8GB!
It now has double the internal memory and now has a whopping 16 GB!!! Furthermore it has what most people have been complaining about... An external hot-swappable memory card slot which supports up to another 8 GB of microSD!! Which in total can go up to 24GB on a bloody fone!! Its even bigger than some PCs...
And now it includes DVB-H... In layman terms, it simply means you can watch TV on your fone! I bought N95 8GB as Starhub does free streaming of Football Channel to my fone and now I can even watch TV on tis fone!
Next I'm absolutely delighted to inform you that the annoying 3.5mm jack has been moved to the top rather than the side!
Everything looks so cool about this fone... I gonna upgrade to this one...
*slurpsssss~~~~~~~*

Happy CNY my dear friends! CNY have been rather enjoyable for me this year and inflation does hit my ang baos too... Revenue has increased this year... Guessed most relatives have been earning much more to share more... And so does the usual call for me to pitch in my share, chasing me for my official joined date... Damn...
Spent almost every nite playing mahjong and you can see alot of difference the new year has caused. Some people luck changed from the eve and keep winning every game and some lost every game... For me it's been no loss situation so far, something which i prefer...
Anyway on the nite of the last day of the super long weekend, Channel 5 played Victoria Secrets Fashion Show 2007 and I was hooked onto it again abeit dangerously playing mahjong whilst watching... hehe...
This show have been going on in the US for years and is licensed to CBS for showcasing it. Singapore apparently can only buy from them and play it on Ch 5 after, if lucky, a few weeks later, if not, a few months later...
What so great about this show other than hot girls in tight little underwear?? This show started as a basic lingerie fashion show, but over time it has now become something like our NDP. Which means everytime it's been shown the whole nation would pause in their steps just to spend one hour watching it...
The models gracing this show have also grown. Some of the notable ones like Tyra Banks, Gisele Bundchen, etc have left the show but yet carved another path in their careers. Whilst others still there like Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima( Ronaldo's gf) , Heidi Klum, Karolina Kurkosa, etc...
This is the "IT" show for models to move out of the modelling world in my opinion. As the requirements of being selected is much more than just looks and body. They are looking for the personality to represent the brand... Which is why the girls are even more appealing....
Anyways you should really take a look as Heidi Klum is slowing phasing out her career in VS or rather modelling, cos she married someone whom i think I looked every better, although maybe his wallet is thicker... heh...
There are 5 parts you can find on youtube, I've just linked part 1 here on my blog... For the rest, go search it yourself
name: Jason aka Ah-Lee
location: Singapore
interests: Liverpool
likes: Torres!
hates: Everything related to Manchester United
wants: To visit Anfield before its gone
